I so prefer this smaller Bark for my Orchids as opposed to the much Larger Pieces. Not only does it provide a greater area for water absorption, then release, because it is smaller it allows for the Orchid's roots to maneuver through them much easier. What can I say? I have been growing all sorts of orchids since 1978. Orchidmart is a most welcome source. Of course, you must know how to re-plant each different species (For example: Paphs are NOT the same as Phals- ). Once transplanted and paced into the p^roper light and other conditions = wow!
