…… they are either faulty heat packs (as experienced on 4 separate shipments as they were ICE COLD upon arrival, which I notified Evan) or the Plants with the 72 Hour Heat Packs were activated DAYS in advance before being picked up by the Courier. I live within the same City as where OrchidMart is based/ships out of. The plants are picked up/dropped off on one day, delivered the next. I can’t see 72 hour Heat Packs dying within 24-48 hours….. something isn’t right, especially when it has happened on 4 occasions. I suspect activating them well in advance of even being picked up by the courier. I often get 2-3 day delivery of Live Fish/Aquatic Livery from other providers in the winter, and the heat packs are still warm upon arrival.
….you contact Evan about a plant that isn’t doing well, and you don’t hear back from him?
Ordered Dec 11th, arrived February 9th with 2 Ice Cold Heat Packs (which has happened on 3 occasions & I notified OrchidMart), I notified Evan via email on March 9th as the centers of the Neo. Furan started turning black and dying. To date, March 13th, still haven’t had a reply from Orchidmart/Evan. Considering in the last 9 months, I have made 37 Orders tallying over $3,400.00 (yes, three thousand four hundred dollars), one would think there would be at least a minuscule amount of Customer Care. Over the last 3 months, OrchidMart had deteriorated to the point that I question whether my 8 outstanding paid orders of plants listed as “in stock” will actually get shipped, and shipped properly with active (not cold) heat packs. Perhaps time to find a new Vendor.
