Plants Conditions 中文版本
We categorize our items into three types: Preorder Plants, Local Growing Plants, and Potted Plants.
Plants with label "Preorder" are plants that are not in stock and will be imported after receiving the orders previously. Preorders are discounted and on sale till the arrived dates.
Bare-rooted: Most of our preorder and imported plants are sold as bare-rooted, in compliance with CFIA regulations. All live plants imported into Canada must be bare-rooted, meaning they come without growing medium or pots. This makes them more challenging to grow. Additionally, imported plants may take longer to arrive. (Learn more about bare-rooted plants and their care tips.)
- All preorders will receive as "bare roots" (no pots and growing medias)
- will suggest to growers with some growing experience.
BR (Bare roots) Scale:
- BR-1: Good live roots and good leaves
- BR-2: Some live roots and good leaves
- BR-3: Few live roots and may need to regrow roots
- BR-4: No live roots and may need to regrow all the roots
- BR-5: No live roots and need a recovery
For Chinese cymbidium BR-1 Good live roots and good leaves
For Phalaenopsis, Neofinetia BR-2 Some live roots and good leaves
For Cattleya, Dendrobium, Oncidium BR-3 to BR-4 Few live roots and may need to regrow roots or No live roots and may need to regrow all the roots
- FS (Flowering Size): A mature plant that has flowered before or is currently in spike.
- MS/BS (Mature Size/Blooming Size): A mature plant, but it has not yet flowered.
- NBS (Near Blooming Size): A plant that will bloom in the future but is not yet mature.
- Seedling: A 1-2 year-old plant that may need more growing time before it blooms.
Local Growing
We retain some extra bare-rooted plants and pot them. These plants are usually grown under grow lights for over 3 months. Once the plants are well-rooted and show signs of active growth, we sell them as local growing plants, and they are ready to ship.
Local growing products will be received with a pot and growing medium.
Potted:
Potted plants come from our local supplier. These plants have been well-adapted to their pots for a long time, making them beginner-friendly and ready to ship.
