I so prefer this smaller Bark for my Orchids as opposed to the much Larger Pieces. Not only does it provide a greater area for water absorption, then release, because it is smaller it allows for the Orchid's roots to maneuver through them much easier. What can I say? I received phal Victoria's lace as a 1.7 inch plantlet and was ready to wait for a few years for blooms. However this plant adapted fast, grew a couple leaves and a few months later bloomed as promised by the grower (big flower with 2 eyes, amazing form and fire lip).
Very big and beautiful specimen. The plant is healthy and not stressed (as it is growing new roots and it is still elongating (growing) the young (newest) leaf. The package and shipping was very well done, I received the plant fast and in very good condition with no transportation damage.
This is the most willing to live plant that I ever received. As soon as I gave it the slightest conditions (light, substrate) - it adapted and started to grow before everybody else from the same shipment. I like it and hope that it will keep going like that.
