⚠️ Please Read Before You Order
🌱 Bare-rooted items: Recently imported orchids are sold bare-rooted and will show post-import stress such as root loss or a dropped bottom leaf. See our shipping condition page for details.
⚠️ AS-IS items: These are sold with a known defect at a discounted price — please review the product's AS-IS note and photos carefully before ordering. All AS-IS sales are final.
📦 Mixing with other items: We suggest not combining in-stock items with preorder items in the same order. Preorders run on a different schedule, and we ship an order only once every item in it has arrived — so if you do combine them, please expect your in-stock items to wait until the preorder items arrive. Adding dry goods (growing supplies) may also need extra processing time and can delay your shipment.
We are a plant import company and do not grow orchids locally. Preorder items are not in stock and will take longer to import and arrive. We collect orders first, then import and ship them directly to you when they arrive.
If you’d like to join our preorder, please make sure to read the preorder instructions regarding the estimated arrival date and plant details.
It's unfortunate the other reviewer didn't have luck with his utricularia order. Perhaps it was mostly a case of mistaken expectations as the plants were sold/described as as bare root "as-is" grade C, (recommended for experienced growers). I have received many utricularia from various Orchidmart pre-orders and they are all doing great including U. Praelonga. Admittedly some pots were rougher than others but none were dead or past salvaging. I will continue to purchase carnivorous plants from Orchidmart as the variety and prices can't be beat.
I was worried about the shipment in cold winter, but plants arrive safely with nursery pot, heated pad , good packaging. Healthy plants, can’t wait to see the new roots after settle in
