Miki Orchid is a well-known, award-winning orchid specialist nursery in Taiwan, best known for its own orchid breeding. Beyond the orchids, they also carry a wide selection of staghorn ferns and other tropical plants.
Orders are collected first, then imported as one shipment. OrchidMart handles the entire import into Canada — sourcing, customs, phytosanitary permits and freight — and provides local customer service, including order tracking, arrival updates, pickup or delivery coordination, and after-arrival support. You order in Canadian dollars from a Canadian shop; we deal with the overseas side.
Orders in this batch received our group order discount of 25% off and are covered by our live arrival guarantee. The free-cancellation window closed with the order on Sept 30.
This preorder is now closed, so we can no longer add items to it. If there's something you'd like us to look for in a future import, just drop us a line with the name — Chinese name is fine — and we'll keep it on our list.
⚠️ Please read before you order
⚠️ PREORDER ITEMS ARE NOT IN STOCK. Preorder items have their own processing and shipping timeline, entirely separate from in-stock items. For estimated arrival dates, always check our Preorder Status Tracking.
📌 New to preordering? Please read About Our Preorder and, if you are a first-time buyer or beginner, read our Instructions before placing an order.
⚠️ We recommend not mixing preorder items with in-stock items, as preorders generally take longer to process. During this time, in-stock items may no longer be in their originally described condition. If you choose to place a mixed-item order, we will hold the shipment and dispatch everything only after the last item has arrived.
📦 Combined shipment: If you need to add items to an existing order (up to 3 items), please contact us with your order number and we will adjust it manually. For more than 3 items, please place a new order with shipping — we will combine all available items and refund any shipping overage.
We are a plant import company and do not grow orchids locally. Preorder items are not in stock and will take longer to import and arrive. We collect orders first, then import and ship them directly to you when they arrive.
If you’d like to join our preorder, please make sure to read the preorder instructions regarding the estimated arrival date and plant details.
It's unfortunate the other reviewer didn't have luck with his utricularia order. Perhaps it was mostly a case of mistaken expectations as the plants were sold/described as as bare root "as-is" grade C, (recommended for experienced growers). I have received many utricularia from various Orchidmart pre-orders and they are all doing great including U. Praelonga. Admittedly some pots were rougher than others but none were dead or past salvaging. I will continue to purchase carnivorous plants from Orchidmart as the variety and prices can't be beat.
I was worried about the shipment in cold winter, but plants arrive safely with nursery pot, heated pad , good packaging. Healthy plants, can’t wait to see the new roots after settle in
